Dr. Virmaris Perdomo is the founder of Dorado Periodontics and a recognized leader in advanced periodontal and implant care in Puerto Rico. After gaining extensive hands-on experience across multiple practices, she established Dorado Periodontics in 2019, bringing a forward-thinking, patient-first approach to specialty dentistry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Perdomo took on a leadership role as a speaker, helping educate clinicians on how to safely navigate clinical practice during challenging times. Today, her practice reflects a strong commitment to innovation, excellence, and high-quality patient care. Beyond dentistry, she is a wife, a mother of two, and an active lifestyle enthusiast. Whether at the gym, running, or enjoying the ocean, she brings the same energy and passion to her personal life as she does to her profession. Her love for animals especially birds and her naturally caring personality make her a favorite among patients.

Education

Dr. Perdomo earned her degree from the Recinto de Ciencias Médicas and completed her specialty training in Periodontal and Implant Surgery at Columbia University. She is also LANAP-certified and highly experienced in guided implant surgery, utilizing advanced technology and top implant systems to deliver precise and predictable results.

Dr. María Cristina Sepúlveda is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care with a gentle and compassionate approach. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal oral health while creating a comfortable and trusting environment for every visit. Outside of the office, Dr. Sepúlveda enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She loves activities such as running, tennis, beach tennis, and going to the gym. Traveling and exploring new places are among her favorite pastimes, and she finds her greatest joy and relaxation at the beach. She also has a deep love for animals and enjoys embracing new adventures whenever possible.

Education

Dr. Sepúlveda earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Recinto de Ciencias Médicas, School of Dental Medicine. She then pursued advanced specialty training in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University, completing her residency in 2024. Her education and training have provided her with extensive experience in the treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants, and advanced surgical procedures.

Dr. Naiomy Pérez Villanueva is a compassionate and dedicated periodontist committed to helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She believes that great dental care goes beyond treatment—it’s about building trust, understanding each patient’s needs, and creating a positive experience at every visit. Patients appreciate Dr. Pérez Villanueva for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and ability to explain treatments clearly and thoughtfully. She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease, especially those who may feel anxious about dental visits. Outside of the office, she enjoys an active and well-balanced lifestyle. She loves spending time at the beach, exploring new restaurants and different cuisines, and relaxing with a good movie. These passions reflect her appreciation for both adventure and meaningful connections, which she brings into the way she cares for her patients.

Education

Dr. Pérez Villanueva began her academic journey at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Dentistry residency through NYU Langone and later specialized in Periodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she received extensive training in the treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants, and advanced surgical procedures.

Throughout her training and professional career, Dr. Pérez Villanueva has remained committed to continuing education and excellence in patient care. She has completed certifications in Invisalign, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and IV conscious sedation, allowing her to provide safe, modern, and comprehensive treatment options. Her approach combines clinical expertise with a personalized and compassionate touch, ensuring that each patient feels informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their treatment.
